The development of a glossary of key terms has supported my learning by improving understanding of professional terminology and enhancing ability to communicate effectively within practice.
Supervision notes
Supervision is a fundamental component of the Facilitation of Learning pillar as it enables ongoing reflection, critical thinking, and professional growth within a supportive environment. It provides opportunities to explore clinical experiences in depth, challenge assumptions, and develop more advanced clinical reasoning through discussion with experienced practitioners.
Through supervision, feedback can be used constructively to inform action planning, allowing for identification of specific learning needs and development of targeted strategies to address them. This supports a cycle of reflection, learning and application, ensuring that development is continuous and meaningful.
